Mineral:Azurite and Malachite (one face polished)
Locality:Bisbee, Warren District, Cochise County, Arizona
Description:Large, heavy block of copper ore composed of blue azurite and green malachite. Several sides of the azurite-malachite were sawn flat and one end face was polished to highlight the deep colors. This would be good rough for a lapidary carver.
